Beautiful home, comfortable, and clean. High end decor and great functionality. Supplied with basics like shampoo/conditioner, coffee pods, and starter toilet paper, salt and pepper. Bring beach towels, but has chairs, bikes, wagon, sun shade. Overall great place- would definitely stay again:)

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well cared for. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and all the thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience easy from start to finish. We really appreciated how comfortable and inviting the space was. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Very nice house. Clean and all the amenities you need for a nice beach trip. Three minute drive to the beach and we never had any problems getting parking. Ron and Joe were very responsive and we enjoyed the stay. Will be back!

Great place to stay for a family of 5. We have 3 kids under 5 and this place was located perfectly for all the things to do in Oak Island. Plenty of space,very clean and the host was very proactive with prompt responses. This house has 3 awesome porches and a large kitchen area for big family dinners. The girls loved the large couch and big TV for movies at night. The area is beautiful and safe with parking under the house if desired. Great area to ride bikes which this house offered as one of the many amenities. We would definitely stay here again. Very nice house which was hard to leave!

The house is a newer build in a quiet, walkable area, nicely decorated with a fun surf theme. The host was very responsive, and we appreciated the beach chairs, cart, and outdoor games. A few things could be improved, especially since this is a premium‑priced rental on Oak Island for early June. We expected basic starter items (a few K‑cups, foil, extra toilet paper, etc.), which we’ve consistently received at similar rentals. The fridge water filter needs replacing, as the water came out extremely slowly, and Oak Island tap water isn’t great. We also encountered two live cockroaches. For guests with dogs, the neighbor’s dogs bark and rush the shared fence whenever you take pets out, making quick trips stressful. The carpet was also replaced during our stay, and we needed to be available to let workers in. Overall, it’s a nice home, and with a few updates, it could offer stronger value for the price.

I’m saddened to see I got a four star review as we’ve never had anything less than a 5 Star review before. I will look for a way to leave people some K cups for their coffee, it’s never been an issue till now, most people bring their own. As far as toilet paper, they put a new roll in every bathroom plus there was toilet paper left from the previous renter typically that’s enough. I apologize if it wasn’t. As far as two roaches, on Oak Island this is a common occurrence. The house is treated every three months, It’s on a maintenance schedule, you will see these down there from time to time it comes with the territory down there. All we can do is treat the house. The neighbor with the dogs next-door, he lives here year-round. I really have no control over his dogs barking again. It’s never come up or been a problem, but that’s something that I should be rated on. I don’t have any control over other people’s PETS. As far as putting in the new rug, we cleared that with you upfront.

Loved the home. Very quiet area. Wonderful deck on front and back of home. Screened in porch on side was excellent area as well. Home was very clean. Neighbors were extremely friendly but were also respectful of your privacy. Ron was very responsive and willing to help with all my needs while staying at his home. I highly recommend this home. Very welcoming feeling. The elevator was a huge asset with my 13 year old pup who has a hard time with stairs. We are already looking to book this home for our annual Oak Island trip next year.
