Great Location with Private Pool and inviting outdoor space The Marlin Club

This house is just what we needed for complete relaxation. The house was pristine, plunge pool was a great way to end the day. The beach access is a short walking commute. We plan on returning and would highly recommend this house.

We had a great stay! A pack and play and high chair were available which made our travel more simple. The walk to the beach and back was short and easy. The neighbors were also so friendly. Wonderful family stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Check-in was simple. The home is beautiful and spacious with an amazing downstairs recreational area. It’s exactly as described and photographed. Walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The location was convenient, and we really enjoyed the house and all of the amenities. It was a great place to spend a weekend at the beach with our kids. The only downside was that the kitchen was minimally stocked, and there were very few towels provided. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend it for a family beach getaway.

We loved staying here! The house was clean, cozy, and very family friendly. We have 3 young kids who spent hours in the pool and playing downstairs. The house was very accommodating and had several helpful items for our stay--high chair, pack and play, kids plates/utensils, etc. We were able to walk to the beach and everything else was a 5 minute drive. We didn’t want to leave! Hopefully we’ll be back soon!

The house was absolutely perfect! The downstairs/outside area was a big hit with my boys (darts, pool table and plunge pool). We have been visiting oak island for 8 years and this is the first house we definitely want to come back to next year! Beds were very comfortable, gas grill was a plus and kitchen had everything we needed (with a huge spice drawer!) Thanks for an amazing stay!

Beautiful home and in an incredible location. There is easy access to the beach via vehicle or by foot. The neighborhood is great and we enjoyed walking it each afternoon. The home was stunning. The outside area was something that will have you torn about “do I go to the beach or do I lay on the porch swing”. One of the best rentals we have ever used. I highly recommend this home. Extremely childproof, lots of gates and amenities for the littles of the family. As someone extremely picky— this place met all of my goals. The host is wonderful! We can’t wait to come back.

Alex and Joe took great care of us. Asked if they had a pack and play on site before we went down there, and they physically went to the house to make sure it was there. The place is clean, it’s wide open. The air-conditioning works awesome. The backyard has lots of games and activities and the little pool was very refreshing. We all were very happy with the accommodation.

Really amazing house. Beautiful and private outdoor spaces. The kitchen is decently stocked, was especially happy to see there were plenty of wine glasses and spices for cooking. Highly recommend, perfect for a group of 4-6.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here in Oak Island! Everything was as excepted along with some extra features that made us very happy making the trip more enjoyable and memorable. We loved every second. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a awesome stay at Alex’s house! The house was really lovely, very clean, and spacious. From the moment we walked in, it felt comfortable and welcoming. It had everything we needed during our stay. We were impressed on how well stocked the kitchen was. The open floor plan made it easy to relax and spend time together. We loved the large screened in porch which acted as an extension of the living area. The house location was fantastic and convenient to everything. It was within walking distance to the beach, a short drive to restaurants/shopping, and a short walk to Middleton Park, which has a great playground and splash pad for kids. During our visit, the park had a festival with a live band, which we loved! While so close to everything, the house was in a quiet neighborhood and had plenty of parking. It had a great outdoor setup to play pool, darts, swim, or just relax on the porch swing. A perfect place for family & friends. I would HIGHLY recommend booking with Alex!!

Alex's place was a great spot for our group. We were less than a mile walk from Middleton Park and about half a mile to the closest access point to the beach. The kitchen and living room get lots of natural light, and the screened in back porch is a great spot for dinner, hanging out, etc. especially with the grill adjacent to the porch. The full spice drawer was really nice for making meals. Biking, walking, and driving to restaurants and coffee shops was easy and convenient from Alex's place. Nice if you have young kids: the kitchen had child safety locks on cabinets, child plates and utensils, and a high chair. Great locale - would definitely recommend!
