Family Beach Retreat Dog Friendly Steps to Sand

Dillon was a great Airbnb host. He was very accommodating for my families needs and very responsive. The home was cozy and had everything we could have needed. It was in a great location especially if you want to take your pup to the dog park right across the street. Walking distance to groceries and even coffee! Definitely would recommend this place to stay in.

Dillon’s place was very clean and comfortable. House was great and nicely decorated and kitchen was well equipped! Even has a clothes washer/dryer!! Also, house was very dog-friendly with a big fenced back yard and dog dishes & dog bed. We liked being close to Middleton Park where music and festivals are held. Thanks for our stay in Oak Island! We loved it! Great home and location. When we arrived there was no hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen. We bought some. There was only one small roll of paper towels on the counter..we bought some. There was one small roll of toilet paper... for 7 people..we bought some. There was not enough towels..wash cloths ..or hand towels for us... The backyard needed some attention..we had a dog...there were a lot of red ants..and the grass needed cutting. There were no grill utensils...

We loved this little house and Oak Island! The walk to the beach was super easy although crossing the main road is a little challenging with the traffic. The house is also very close to the Publix and other places to eat/treat. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard and of course the dog park across the road . We especially loved the outdoor shower and screened in porch. The house is super cute. We will definitely be back.

Cute beach cottage- short golf cart ride/walk to the beach. Great fenced in backyard for our doggy! Nice, new outdoor shower. House was clean, any issues were responded to almost immediately- would definitely recommend!

Great location for all things in the island. The house was perfect for our family of four (+ our fur baby!) The beach was walkable and so were several restaurants down the main road. Would definitely stay again!

Dillon’s place felt new. It had everything we needed plus extras for our dog. Very private backyard and a wonderful outdoor shower. Beach was great with lots of shells. House was super quiet. Loved how we didn’t have do a lot before leaving. They take care of everything.

We loved our stay! House was perfect for our family of 6 & our dog. The house was very homey & beachy and had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and looks as pictured. House is very dog and family friendly. Little walking distance to the beach, we rented a golf cart for hauling everything to the beach. You can easily walk to the beach if you’re not carrying a bunch of things. Perfect neighborhood for bike riding/walks. The outdoor shower is amazing and the fenced in back yard is a great addition. Would highly recommend the home and would definitely stay again!
