A Shore to Please Bungalow Dog Friendly

Great stay with our family and dogs. The house was very comfortable and we slept great. The screened in front porch was awesome. We spent hours out there every day while taking a break from the sand. This house is walkable to the beach, and is close to a scenic walk, which is beautiful. We liked the location of this house because the beach and other amenities are close, but the house is on a quiet street. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our first trip to Oak Island. The house was very conveniently located and exactly as described! It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We will be back!

Enjoyed our visit to Oak Island. Beach was nice and clean and small shops and grocery stores were in close proximity. Overall a 4 star because the fridge wasn’t getting up to temp so we lost half of our groceries and upon arrival we were left with half a roll of toilet paper for 6 guests. The beds are more on the stiff side that a few guest opted to sleep on the floor and couch in the living room.

Hello, had we been made aware of the toilet paper we would have immediately brought you some!! Also the refrigerator was somehow put into demo mode which the repair man fixed promptly however we are disappointed that occurred and impacted your stay!!

The house was perfect for our family! The shade tree in the front yard made evenings on the screened-in porch one of our favorite activities. The neighborhood was quiet and year-around residents were friendly. Also, we found a free parking area one street over with a short walk over the sound to the beach which saved us so much money! We will definitely be back next year!

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated how clean the house was upon our arrival. Fenced in yard was also perfect for our dogs. We had 3 adults, a teen and a small child all needing showers each day and we never ran out of hot water. The layout of the house was nice, as well. The living and kitchen area were large enough for us all to hang out comfortably. A nice bonus was the fire pit. We made smores each night (found firewood at Publix) and watched the stars.

Stayed for a weekend with 4 adults. Plenty of space, easy access to shops restaurants and beach! Clean and comfortable!

We had a lovely week stay for Thanksgiving. I think dinner tasted better because we were at the beach! The house was clean. Joe responded to all my questions promptly. The neighborhood is quiet. The house was perfect for our doodles. Easy walk to the beach this time of year, not sure about summer when it’s hot. Oak Island is wonderful!! Beware of grass spurs! They hurt like hell to take off the pups.
